Báo cáo của UBND thành phố Hà Nội dẫn số liệu cho biết, từ năm 2021 đến 30/4/2022, có 857 người làm trong lĩnh vực Y tế nghỉ việc, xin chuyển công tác.Tổng cộng, từ đầu năm 2021 đến ngày 30/4 năm nay, Hà Nội có gần 857 cán bộ y tế nghỉ việc, chuyển công tác.
Lý giải cho việc hàng trăm nhân viên y tế nghỉ việc, theo UBND TP Hà Nội hiện số lượng nhân viên y tế của Hà Nội còn thiếu. Ngoài ra, chế độ đãi ngộ và mức thu nhập cho nhân viên y tế còn hạn chế so với các doanh nghiệp, các đơn vị y tế ngoài công lập hoặc cơ sở y tế thuộc các bộ, ngành.
UBND TP Hà Nội đánh giá trường hợp dịch bệnh bùng phát trở lại hoặc xuất hiện chủng virus COVID-19 mới có khả năng lây lan, nguy hiểm thì thảm họa xảy ra rất khó lường.
Theo UBND TP Hà Nội, nếu không có chế độ hỗ trợ các y, bác sĩ và nhân viên y tế của TP Hà Nội kịp thời, sẽ không bảo đảm nhân lực để phòng chống dịch.
Liên quan tới vấn đề này, Sở Y tế Hà Nội đã có văn bản trình UBND TP, báo cáo Thường trực HĐND TP về việc đề nghị xây dựng, ban hành Nghị quyết quy định chế độ hỗ trợ cho các y, bác sĩ và nhân viên y tế của TP Hà Nội theo trình tự, thủ tục rút gọn (Tờ trình số 2284/TTr-SYT ngày 24-5-2022; Công văn số 2369/SYT- KHTC ngày 28/5/2022).
Đây là một giải pháp cơ bản, lâu dài, nâng cao chất lượng chăm sóc sức khỏe cho người dân kể cả trong điều kiện không có dịch bệnh, thể hiện sự quan tâm của Nhà nước và xã hội đối với lực lượng y tế.
Từ đó, từng bước củng cố nâng cao năng lực của cơ sở khám chữa bệnh, được xem là vấn đề then chốt trong việc phát triển ngành y tế Thủ đô hiện nay.
