Về nguồn cung xăng dầu, ông Trần Duy Đông, Vụ trưởng Vụ Thị trường trong nước, Bộ Công Thương, khẳng định, đến thời điểm hiện nay, tổng nguồn cung xăng dầu cho thị trường trong nước vẫn được đảm bảo.
Trước đó, vào tháng 5/2022, Bộ Công Thương đã phối hợp Bộ Thông tin và Truyền thông xây dựng cơ sở dữ liệu về điều hành xăng dầu bằng công nghệ số. Việc áp dụng công nghệ số được thực hiện nhằm nắm bắt nguồn cung cũng như hoạt động phân phối loại hàng hoá đặc biệt này tại thị trường nội địa để đảm bảo luôn cân đối được cung cầu cũng như an ninh năng lượng.
“Cơ sở dữ liệu này sẽ có hiệu quả lớn trong nắm số liệu hàng tồn kho, nguồn cung của các doanh nghiệp để điều tiết thị trường và cân đối cung cầu”, ông Đông khẳng định.
Sáu tháng đầu năm 2022, nước ta đã đảm bảo đủ nguồn cung cho hoạt động sản xuất kinh doanh và nhu cầu của người dân, mặc dù sản xuất trong nước, đặc biệt là ở Nghi Sơn đang gặp khó khăn và việc nhập khẩu xăng dầu từ nước ngoài cũng không dễ.
Trong thời gian tới, Bộ Công Thương khẳng định, luôn ưu tiên nguồn xăng dầu trong nước nhưng doanh nghiệp phải có cam kết rõ ràng và phải công bố. Phần còn lại sẽ bổ sung từ nguồn nhập khẩu. Trong mọi trường hợp, sẽ đảm bảo đủ nguồn cung xăng dầu cho nhu cầu sử dụng của người dân.
Trước đó, một số cơ quan báo chí đưa tin, trưa 11/7, tại một cửa hàng xăng dầu trên đường Lê Văn Sỹ, quận Tân Bình (TP.HCM), người dân ghé mua xăng thì được nhân viên thông báo “hết xăng”, đồng thời hướng dẫn sang cửa hàng khác để mua. Tương tự, một cửa hàng xăng dầu trên đường Phan Văn Trị (quận Gò Vấp) cũng để bảng thông báo "hết xăng, còn dầu".
Theo báo cáo Petrolimex Sài Gòn, qua kiểm tra thông tin của Công ty Lương thực TP.HCM (điểm bán hàng 424 Lê Văn Sỹ, phường 2, quận Tân Bình), kết quả cho thấy: Công ty cổ phần Lương thực TP.HCM là khách hàng nhượng quyền bán lẻ của Petrolimex Sài Gòn, phát triển mới từ tháng 5/2022 với 2 điểm bán, gồm cửa hàng bán lẻ xăng dầu Long Thạnh Mỹ (238 Xa lộ Hà Nội, khu phố 3, phường Tân Phú, TP Thủ Đức) và cửa hàng bán lẻ xăng dầu (424 Lê Văn Sỹ, phường 2, quận Tân Bình).
Sản lượng đăng ký là 500m3/tháng cho 2 điểm bán (thực hiện tháng 5/2022 là 541m3). Sáng 11/7, sau khi điều chỉnh giảm giá, lượng khách hàng vào đổ xăng dầu rất đông tại khu vực cửa hàng Lê Văn Sỹ nên cửa hàng bị đứt hàng cục bộ hơn 1 giờ (từ 11h45 đến 13h).
