Cả nước thêm 1.161 ca COVID-19, cao nhất trong 47 ngày qua
Tối 20/7, Bộ Y tế ghi nhận 1.161 ca mắc mới COVID-19, cao nhất trong 47 ngày qua, số bệnh nhân nặng đang phải thở oxy là 49 ca.
Theo thống kê của Bộ Y tế, trong 24 giờ qua, cả nước ghi nhận thêm 1.161 ca COVID-19, cao nhất trong 47 ngày qua.
Trong ngày 20/7, có 9.072 bệnh nhân được công bố khỏi bệnh, nâng tổng số ca được điều trị khỏi lên 9.832.646 ca.
Số bệnh nhân đang thở oxy là 49 ca, trong đó: thở oxy qua mặt nạ: 39 ca; thở oxy dòng cao HFNC: 4 ca; thở máy không xâm lấn: 1 ca; thở máy xâm lấn: 5 ca; ECMO: 0 ca.

Cùng ngày, cả nước tổ chức tiêm 853.945 liều vaccine phòng COVID-19. Như vậy, tổng số liều vaccine đã được tiêm là 240.469.740 liều. Trong đó, số liều tiêm cho người từ 18 tuổi trở lên là hơn 210 triệu liều, số liều tiêm cho trẻ 12-17 tuổi là 19,6 triệu liều, số liều tiêm cho trẻ 5-11 tuổi là hơn 10,5 triệu liều.
Theo Bộ Y tế, dịch bệnh vẫn diễn biến phức tạp, khó lường và đã bùng phát trở lại tại một số quốc gia với sự xuất hiện của biến thể BA.5 của chủng Omicron, nhất là tại khu vực Châu Âu.
Tổ chức Y tế thế giới (WHO) khuyến cáo các quốc gia duy trì các biện pháp ứng phó như tiêm vaccine tăng cường, nhắc lại cho những nhóm có nguy cơ mắc bệnh, bảo vệ bệnh trở nặng.
Tại Việt Nam, từ cuối tháng 3/2022, dịch có xu hướng giảm mạnh và hiện vẫn đang được cơ bản kiểm soát tốt trên phạm vi cả nước.
Hai biến thể phụ BA.4, BA.5 của biến thể Omicron đã được ghi nhận trong nước, Bộ Y tế chỉ đạo tăng cường giám sát sự lưu hành của biến thể phụ BA.4, BA.5 và các biến thể khác để chủ động có các biện pháp xử lý kịp thời.
Đồng thời, các đơn vị tiếp tục theo dõi chặt chẽ tình hình dịch bệnh; thường xuyên đánh giá, phân tích tình hình dịch và các yếu tố nguy cơ, chủ động các giải pháp ứng phó với các dịch bệnh và chủ động xây dựng và triển khai các kịch bản, phương án đáp ứng với mọi tình huống dịch.
Bộ yêu cầu các địa phương cần đẩy mạnh triển khai tiêm vaccine COVID-19 mũi 3 cho người từ 12 tuổi trở lên, ưu tiên tiêm mũi 4 cho các đối tượng có nguy cơ theo hướng dẫn. Đồng thời đẩy mạnh tiêm liều cơ bản cho trẻ từ 5 đến dưới 12 tuổi đảm bảo thần tốc, quyết liệt, an toàn, hiệu quả, khoa học.
Kể từ đầu dịch đến nay, Việt Nam ghi nhận 10.763.694 ca nhiễm, đứng thứ 12/227 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ.
Tổng số ca tử vong do COVID-19 tại nước ta tính đến nay là 43.091 ca, chiếm tỷ lệ 0,4% so với tổng số ca nhiễm (xếp thứ 24/227 vùng lãnh thổ).
